HARRY POTTER IN THE HOOD

Former stand-up comics Allan Murray and Sean Haines first hit cyberspace in June 2007 with their first OMOVIES.COM project, “Paris in Jail: The Music Video” which received over eight million hits on YouTube and is the number one viewed online comedy video of the year. Now these writer/directors are at it again, having found humor in the Harry Potter mania with their new music video parody “Harry Potter in the Hood.”

OMOVIES.COM is making a distinctive mark on the internet, offering their hilarious comedic take on pop culture. “Harry Potter in the Hood” will debut on OMOVIES.COM and YouTube on July 19th at Midnight, and the original song and video will be available for download on the OMOVIES.COM website. The video was written and directed by Allan Murray and Sean Haines and stars 20 year old Kamen Edwards as Harry P., a.k.a. ‘H Piddy.’ It’s a sexy satire of hip-hop videos featuring the boy wizard, taking jabs at Kevin Federline, Paula Abdul, David Hasselhoff, and other celebrities along the way!

“We wanted to launch our production company through the internet world,” says Murray, who co-founded OMOVIES.COM with Haines a few months ago. It’s a perfect way to show your writing, directing and producing skills to a mass audience.”

Murray, a Texas native, is an actor, standup comedian, writer, director and producer. He also composes and plays five instruments. He has also toured the world as a stand-up comedian.

Co-writer/director/producer, Haines, also comes from a background in live comedy. He worked his way from street performer to headliner status with his act, The Dangerous Comedy of Wilde & Hanes. He recently wrote and produced The Bryan G. Show, a one-man comedy and music act currently enjoying great success in venues around the world.
